Date: 25. 4. 2025, Belgium Project progress presented at CESEC Electricity and Renewable Energy Plenary working group meeting The project coordinator, Simon Tot from ELES, presented the progress of project activities to the CESEC Electricity and Renewable Energy Plenary working group. The presentation was part of the update by project promoters on the state of play of the CESEC electricity priority infrastructure projects. The activities to increase distribution grid efficiency in Austria, Croatia, and Slovenia are going as planned. Partners automated and upgraded a significant number of primary and secondary substations. They are upgrading Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) functionalities, integrating smart grid elements, and modernising ICT networks. The transmission system operators in Croatia and Slovenia are carrying out public procurements to install new technologies, such as power control systems and HTLS conductors. In parallel, they are upgrading the Dynamic Thermal Rating and the Wide Area Monitoring System and integrating new components into the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition/Energy Management System.
